Christine Ockrent : Du métier de journaliste
Christine Ockrent est Directrice Générale Déléguée de l’Audiovisuel Extérieur de la France, la société holding qui supervise et coordonne les activités des chaînes de télévision et de radio françaises et francophones diffusant à l’étranger: France 24, TV5Monde, Radio France International et Monte Carlo Doualiya.
Christine Ockrent a commencé sa carrière de journaliste à NBC News en 1966 et a travaillé pendant huit ans pour le magazine d’information de CBS News 60 minutes.
Présentatrice et rédactrice en chef du 20h d’Antenne 2 entre 1981 et 1987, elle devient directrice de la rédaction de l’hebdomadaire L’Express, rédactrice en chef et présentatrice de programmes d’information sur France 3.
Auteur de nombreux ouvrages, Christine Ockrent est éditorialiste pour différentes publications.
Elle siège au conseil d’administration de nombreuses institutions internationales: International Crisis Group (ICG), the French Council on Foreign Relations (IFRI), the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), the Center for European Reform (CER), Human Rights Watch France, Reporters sans frontières and the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society
Diplômée de l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques Paris, Christine Ockrent est Officier de la Légion d’Honneur, Officier de l’Ordre du Mérite et Officier de l’Ordre de Léopold.
